Before you bid

Mebane Antique Auction Gallery is an in-person auction source. A few things resellers get caught by with this kind of source:

  • Buyer’s premium and sales tax. Both are added on top of your winning bid. Confirm the percentage before you raise a paddle, not after.
  • No returns. What you inspected and bid on is what you take home, condition and all.
  • The time cost. A full afternoon can produce one good lot or none.

Every source sets its own fees, registration and pickup rules, so read them on Mebane Antique Auction Gallery’s own site before you bid.

The county's page says it sells furniture and equipment on GovDeals and vehicles through IAAI, and that a missing county name means nothing is listed at the moment. Look for Durham County in the seller list. On GovDeals, agencies show in the seller-name dropdown, and a name missing from it means nothing is offered right now.
